I have spent all of this week during World Mental Health Day at talks and workshops hearing from people, how having hope was so important in their recovery. Given what is happening around us in the world right now, hope is sometimes the one thing that keeps us going and helps us move forward. It stops us from sinking into the pit of complete despair.
But how do we do hope? How is it found in the darkest of times? I feel at the moment we only need to switch on the news to feel hopeless when we view the horrific coverage of the Israel Gaza war. How do we do hope individually and as a collective?
