I'm reading this post-drop off on the tube on my way to a conference and I nearly missed my stop. You can read it between Gloucester Road and Victoria. I'm really enjoying the intermission one because it's nice to see where we connect on culture and also because it reveals so much more of your story. Each time I get more of a sense of your voice. I've watched When Harry Met Sally with my mum so many times. "It had to be you" is mine and Takie's song. Ava doesn't like RomComs much she thinks the men are creepy. It must be a generational thing. Or maybe she's still a child and not very interested in romance yet. And the idea of love and the importance of finding romantic love has shifted? Comment took two stops. Victoria to Oxford Circus. x

Thanks so much for this lovely insight Amy. The weekend’s piece got more reads than a lot of my other Coffee with Coops posts - so I think you’re right it’s the connection of culture and movies but then with my lens and story interwoven. Ha ha I’m glad you didn’t miss your stop!! Xx

For next month, add Silver Linings Playbook, especially being a J.L. fan. I love Florence Pugh too! Even though Midsommar was one of the strangest movies I've ever watched, that's when I discovered how great of an actress she is.

It’s on my list. I’ve seen it before but awhile ago. She is fabulous. I love her authenticity.

I did pay £15.99 to watch Bridget on my sofa and cried my heart out (which you know isn’t my style!) it’s worth the money!
