Good morning,
Moving house solo on Friday and Saturday with a two-hour drive—somehow, I thought it would be easier to get this out - I did manage to record it on Friday! Writing didn’t quite happen the way I’d planned, but instead, I jotted down short notes and thoughts throughout the week. Many of you loved last week’s audio style, so I’ve stuck with that - aiming to please. Again, this one’s kept short, perfect for listening while pottering around.
This topic has been on my mind because a year ago, I faced my first Christmas acutely feeling the loss of my old life and grieving the death of my beloved pet. Through my grief coaching, I’ve supported others navigating their firsts - the anniversaries you know will hit hard or moments when the sadness appears, just when you thought you were moving forward.
I hope this makes you feel seen and reminds you that there is no right or wrong way to approach grief. I’m sending you a big hug if you need one 💛.
I have removed the paywall from one of my pieces from November last year, on grief and nostalgia, which people seemed to love. It is all about the healing container of nostalgia.
Homecomings and the healing container of nostalgia

I’ve created two impactful webinars for workplaces for you to host within your business throughout 2025. If you’re not actively engaging with your people on grief, perhaps it’s time to start.
If you enjoyed listening, please tap the heart on the email or share. It does make a difference.
I wish you all the love for the start of December.
