Mental Wealth Resources
Welcome to Mental Wealth Resources on Coffee with Coops. It is your go-to page if you have attended some of my training in your organisation. It will likely have been either Mental Health First Aid England training or one of my bespoke workshops. Here, you can find all the additional resources I have mentioned. If you haven’t been on my training, this page will still be handy, feel free to browse.

Wellness Recovery Action Plan
The Wellness Recovery Action Plan template is a personalised, innovative and proactive way to manage Mental Wealth at work. The WRAP can be tailored for personalised use. It is helpful if you’re returning to work from a period of absence, but we can all make use of the WRAP whether we have a mental health problem or not. It can help us identify what keeps us well at work, what causes us to become unwell, and how to address a mental health problem at work should you be experiencing one.
How does stress show up in your life?
This is your own downloadable editable Stress Audit. Spend some time reflecting on where stress shows up for you. This is a good one to do and share with colleagues whom you trust, or people who you are close with - that way others may be aware of the signs when our Burden Bucket may be close to filling up, or tipping over!
Ride the Wave 🌊
This is a helpful mnemonic to encourage you or someone you know to deal with panic attacks. I created it for the charity No Panic. For me, it was a game changer to stop spending time and energy focused on eradicating panic attacks and empower myself to deal with them when they arose.
Useful Films 🎥
Across the world, ASICS is encouraging its office-based employees to move for their mental health by taking regular movement breaks. This is fabulous video starring Brian Cox!
Things Not To Say To Someone With Schizophrenia (BBC3)
Managing schizophrenia is one thing, but managing some people's perception that you must be a dangerous, weed-smoking 'Jekyll-and-Hyde' character is another. Here are the clichés that people with schizophrenia are tired of dealing with.
If you are impacted by any of the themes in the film the BBC have provided a great list of resources of support here.
Brené Brown on Empathy vs Sympathy
What is the best way to ease someone's pain and suffering? In this beautifully animated RSA Short, Dr Brené Brown reminds us that we can only create a genuine empathic connection if we are brave enough to really get in touch with our own fragilities.
🕯️ Both videos below raise the theme of suicide awareness. Please only access these if you feel you are in a good and safe space, or that you are able to be supported if the films bring up difficult emotions.
If you need urgent support or someone to listen, please contact one of these wonderful organisations. There is always someone who can listen. You are not alone.
