Welcome to Coffee with Coops! 💛☕️
I’m Coops, an award-winning Positive Psychology Wellbeing Expert & Thrivership Coach™, here to help you not just survive the week, but thrive in it
My love languages? Coffee, cake, movies, and classical music.
✨This reader-powered corner of the internet gives you access to my full archive, live sessions, replays, and exclusive Mental Wealth resources.
If you missed Tuesday’s Calm with Coops, the replay is now available, and based on the lovely reviews, it’s still working its quiet magic.
Usually, the session is £10 for non-subscribers, but I’ve opened up a little offer until Tuesday:

I want to apologise - and I know I don’t have to because life happens. But yes, I wanted to apologise for Coffee with Coops being a little later this weekend. This is a one-woman effort, and I had planned to record my video on Friday, between finishing my breakfast radio show and heading to drama school in London. Then my car broke down (it was just fixed today at 1230 pm). Long story short, I ran out of time before I had to head to London.
Because of said car breaking down, it meant yesterday I had to leave the house at 6.30 am to go and assist with a private holotropic breathwork class in St Albans (near where I used to live before the seaside move!). I went in and out of London four times on the train yesterday as I was kindly gifted a spot at the Robbie Williams gig. Which meant I was home the total of 35 minutes to shower and change before heading back to London, returning at 2 am this morning. I am exhausted. But happy.
If you're interested, Robbie was excellent, and I plan to write about this next week.
The holotropic breathwork class was incredible. It was a very unique experience as a facilitator. And just wow. The transformation that happened in that room. Later this month, I’ll be back at Hello Love in London, teaching my in-person class. You can book your spot [here].
It felt like the perfect time to do something a little different, so I’ve recorded a short video explaining what holotropic breathwork is, how it works, and what you might experience.
If you’ve ever been curious about this kind of work, this should give you a clear starting point. Have a watch! If you’ve got any questions I haven’t covered, drop them in the comments.
Interested in a 1:1 Coaching & Breathwork session with me?
I now offer 90-minute sessions for £99, combining tailored coaching with breathwork to help you reset, refocus, and reconnect.
If that sounds like something you need, please send me a message using the contact form, indicating your general availability, and we can arrange a booking for you.
📅 Sessions available from the end of July onwards.
There is also a replay of the 'Breathe for Performance' workshop I delivered last year, which paid subscribers can revisit and watch [here]. This workshop covers various styles of breathwork techniques, particularly those designed to rest, restore, and rejuvenate the mind, body, and spirit.
I hope you gained a deeper understanding of holotropic experiences. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if this is something you would like to incorporate into your next retreat or corporate away day.
Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon.
Love

Correction! Jimmy Laing was the guest speaker. He wrote a book called "50 Years in the System" and some of these years were in Carstairs. It is a harrowing read.
Many years ago, my car broke down on the way to a REACHOUT (project on Mental Health) event I was chairing. Fortunately help was on hand very quickly and I got to the event on time. A guest speaker was to talk about his "50 years in Carstairs". Carstairs is a maximum-security psychiatric hospital.
My opening statement to a full audience was "This morning I had a breakdown (long pause) it was my car, not me!"
The event was a great success thereafter!
