This week is a strong brew, full of support as we head into May’s Mental Health Awareness Week and Month💚

Since the start of the year, I’ve noticed a recurring theme in my coaching and training rooms: so many people struggle with carrying things that aren’t theirs and learning to put down what they can’t control.

So I created something special for you, a soothing ten-minute body scan meditation to help you return to yourself and gently let go.

You know I talk about the burden bucket in my trainings and workshops - that invisible container we all carry, often filled with things that aren’t ours to hold. Expectations. Emotional weight. Other people’s stuff. This gentle body scan is a moment to pause, breathe, and return to yourself. It’s not about fixing. It’s about noticing, softening, and maybe even taking a few things out. You don’t have to carry it all.

🎧 You’ll find the meditation at the bottom of this post (just past the paywall). I’d love to hear how it lands with you.

If you’re new here, I also want to spotlight three earlier pieces I’ve written on anxiety and panic attacks. They’re there to support you.

Two weeks FREE Paid Coffee with Coops

Before you head off for the (long!) weekend, two quick things:

🔔 My free webinar: Mental Wealth and Protecting Your Energy Through Community is this Tuesday, 7 May at 12:15 pm BST.

This is a big one. I’ll be unpacking what mental health and community really mean in 2025 — and how we build connection when everyone feels so fragmented. It’s open to all, and paid subscribers will receive the replay.

📻 I’m back on the airwaves and finding my new crew!

Finally… some BIG news. I’m officially back behind the mic! After relocating from Hertfordshire to Essex and saying goodbye to my wonderful radio family at Mix92.6, I’m thrilled to announce I’ll host Good Morning Chelmsford every Friday morning. 🌅

Michelle and I live in the studio for CCR!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been shadowing the gorgeous Michelle and getting to know the brilliant Chelmsford Community Radio team. I met many of them properly for the first time on Thursday at the Chelmsford City Bowl and Snooker Club.

Despite my angry bowling technique (their words, not mine 😅), they were warm and welcoming. It was one of those unexpected, lovely moments of connection, and it reminded me again why community matters.

The show also falls on Fitness Friday, which is right up my street. This morning, I had the pleasure of interviewing the wonderful Chris Jullings from Chelmsford City Football Club about their walking football teams (who knew?!) and the Club’s incredible Foundation work, particularly its support for young people and those with disabilities.

Post interview with Chris Jullings from Chelmsford City Football Club.

🎙️ Tune in every Friday from 7:30 to 10:00 am for uplifting music, great interviews, high energy, and buckets of community spirit.
